perfectly situated for exploring the best of banff
My stay was made special not just by the comfortable accommodations but also by how incredibly easy it was to stroll into town and visit nearby attractions like the stunning Banff Park Museum and the charming Old Spaghetti Factory, both within just a few minutes’ walk. the warm atmosphere created by our host Susan made breakfasts a delightful part of each day, setting the tone for our adventures ahead.

A delightful breakfast experience
Waking up to a unique breakfast each morning was a highlight of my stay at The Poplar Inn. Susan, our host, was a wealth of knowledge about the local area, which we thoroughly enjoyed during our chats over breakfast. Clean, spacious rooms and an inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home.
However, we did find the walls quite thin, leading to some disturbances from the neighboring rooms. Additionally, although the breakfasts were generous, an earlier sitting flexibility would have suited our schedule better. There was also a lingering smell from the kitchen that was noticeable.

Wonderful location with easy access to attractions.
The mattress in the bunk bed was uncomfortable, and it was unsuitable for older adults, despite indicating that four adults would be staying. Additionally, there was no flexibility regarding check-in time, which felt inconsiderate of our needs. The staff seemed uninterested in providing assistance or accommodating our requests, making the experience a bit disappointing.

The Deluxe King Room was comfy with a great bed and good space. There was some noise from the showers in adjacent rooms, which woke us up a bit. Overall, the room had everything we needed for a cozy stay. A nice outdoor area to relax in after a long day. Susan made us feel at home, and we loved the unique breakfast she prepared each morning.

My recent stay at Poplar Inn was exceptional. The room was spacious, with a super king bed that provided maximum comfort. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious dishes like egg on an English muffin with avocado and homemade blueberry pancakes. The Inn's location allows for a quick walk to the main street, while still feeling tranquil. Susan, the host, fostered a warm atmosphere, joining us for breakfast and ensuring a delightful experience.
Occasional noise from neighboring rooms was slightly disruptive.
